The guitar is an amazing instrument that has many facets. It is a complicated beast especially for a new player and its going to take a lot of effort to get up to speed quickly. But, once you have the basics down, you will soon realise how worthwhile it was and will realise the opportunities you will have uncovered.

There are some great easy songs that a beginner to guitar can learn with just the knowledge of a few chords, so dive straight in and learn something. It’s good for confidence and it’s important to learn simple strumming technique as soon as possible. You’ll also be surprised at just how many classic songs are made up of very easy to play chords.

It all started about nine months ago, when my wife and I decided it would be a good idea to remodel our home. It took a lot of talking about because neither of us really wanted to take the job on as we both have active business lives. However, one Sunday afternoon, I took the bull by the horns and started to strip the paper off the walls and the ceiling in the kitchen. My wife soon joined in.

Beginner guitar lessons that work are hard to come by these days. It’s like anyone with a webcam and guitar is a guitar tutor these days. They sit down strum a couple of chords and a few minutes later the video is on youtube for everyone to see. No don’t get me wrong I’m all for sharing instruction and internet video is great for that for sure! But if you want to learn guitar then you need a complete system and not just a few tutorials here and there.
